Why Buicks?
I grew up with Buicks.

What is your favorite Buick story?
How I almost lost my life over a '59 Buick.
The year was 1967 and I was 4 years old. We were heading to Zanesville to visit my grandparents when I found a ballpoint pen in the backseat. My favorite way to ride in the car at that time was watching out the back window as we went down the road.  Finding this pen was about to add a new twist to the trip that had never happened before, and would never happen again. I don't know what made me try this but once I started I didn't stop until we got to my Grandparents. What I discovered was that a ballpoint pen made a really net sound when it poked through the top edge of the backseat as we rode down the road. I don't remember how long I did this but I poked a lot of holes in that seat and was not discovered until we got to my Grandparents, and let me tell you my Dad was not very pleased. From this point on in the trip/visit I don't remember much. I don't know if it was because of my punishment or the fact that I was 4 years old. Now my dad waits to see things go full circle for me with my boys (which many things have). So I make them ride facing forward, buckled in, and if they have a pen they also have paper and me always keeping one eye in the rear view mirror.
